Glenfiddich Project XX embodies the pioneering spirit of the Experimental Series, challenging the conventions of traditional whisky crafting. Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich’s Malt Master, orchestrated an unprecedented experiment involving 20 whisky experts from 16 different countries, each bringing their unique palate and preferences to the heart of Scotland’s Speyside.
 
A Conclave of Experts
 
Invited to the historic Conval Warehouse at Glenfiddich’s Dufftown distillery, these experts were given carte blanche to select any cask that piqued their interest. This selection process was as diverse as it was meticulous, with choices ranging from venerable port pipes and sherry butts to virgin oak bourbon casks, encapsulating a spectrum of ages, flavors, and stories.
 
Crafting the Blend
 
The culmination of this journey is Project XX, a vatting of 20 exceptional single malts handpicked for their distinctive characters.
