The Oban Little Bay is an intricate and expertly crafted single malt Scotch whisky from the heart of the coastal Highland distillery. Master Blenders Dr. Matthew Crow and Dr. Craig Wilson meticulously blend whisky matured in a combination of refill American oak hogsheads, European oak Sherry casks, and refill casks with new ends. The spirit is then married in small oak casks, allowing the flavours to develop with greater intensity, creating a beautifully complex expression that showcases Oban's maritime influence and rich Highland heritage.
 
Tasting Notes:
Nose: A well-balanced aroma of waxy and nutty notes complemented by ripe orchard fruits. Layers of almond fruit cake and denser Christmas pudding add depth, while hints of cereal and orange zest provide a fresh, aromatic lift.
Palate: Medium to rich in body, offering a comforting chewiness of rich fruit-bread with hints of clove and orange zest. As it evolves, the flavours grow drier and minty, leading to crisp green apple notes that balance the sweetness.
Finish: Long and satisfying, beginning with a syrupy richness that gradually dries, leaving a smooth, dark chocolate character with elegant tannins.
