The Octomore Edition 15.2 is a bold and complex single malt Scotch whisky, peated to an impressive 108.2 PPM. Distilled in 2018 from Scottish Mainland Concerto barley, this 5-year-old whisky is a study in the balance between power and finesse. Initially matured in second fill wine and second fill bourbon casks, the spirit is recasked into first-fill Cognac casks in 2023, adding layers of richness and complexity.
 
On the nose, expect vibrant aromas of sweet citrus, lime zest, and lemon meringue pie, balanced by toasted oak and earthy peat smoke. The palate offers a luxurious texture, with flavors of vanilla custard, caramel, and toffee, spiced with black pepper, charred oak, and nutmeg. A maritime quality shines through on the finish, with waves of salt spray and lingering peat embers.
