Named after the rugged inlet on Islay’s Atlantic coast, Sanaig is a beautifully crafted peated single malt from Kilchoman Distillery. This whisky is a vatting of sherry and bourbon casks, with a high proportion of Oloroso sherry influence that adds layers of dried fruit and spices to Kilchoman’s signature citrus sweetness and smoky peat character.
 
On the nose, expect fragrant heather, raisins, and pear, followed by waves of orange peel, stoned fruits, and rich peat smoke. The palate is full of overripe plums, red cherries, citrus, and rich BBQ peat smoke, balanced by toffee, oak, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and mouth-coating, with caramel, cinnamon, clove, and layers of brown sugar and spices, leaving a lasting sweetness with smoky depth.
